Accompanying Video Submission Requirements Introduction -- This guide provides information for preparing digital video for submissions to any of the venues where accompanying videos are accepted/required. Size -- For your accompanying video to be included in the ACM Digital Library and associated with your paper, its final data size must be the appropriate size per your submission type (See below). All video figures must be within this limit. Please test your final file before submission to ensure that it does not exceed this limit. Videos exceeding the size limit will not be included in the distributed epublication, nor within the ACM DL.
Format -- The HRI'12 chairs encourage MPEG-4 format with an H264 encoder for video and an AAC encoder for audio. ACM does not accept or include analog (videotape) submissions, software applications (.exe files), or digital video clips requiring a specific computing platform or additional software to play. Duration/Length -- The HRI'12 chairs request the length to be the appropriate duration per your submission type (see above). If you plan to play the figure during your conference presentation, be sure that you allow enough time both for the video and the other portions of the presentation, including time at the end for questions. Resolution -- at least 320px x 240px. Identification -- Please remember to review the properties of your digital file and insert appropriate identifying comments. All material submitted bear a copyright or permission notice assigning appropriate copyright. The QuickTime format permits you to enter author, title, and copyright information. Please include this information in the properties of your digital video file. |
